Virginia Hey, Australian actress best known for her role as the alien priestess Pa’u Zotoh Zhaan in the Sci-Fi series Farscape and as a warrior woman in Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior is going to be playing the part of Athena in Falcyyr! We got to work with little girls today (the oldest is 13 and everyone else is under 9). LOTS of hair to curl! We had Sophia, Sophie, Nia, Riley, Adrianna, Bella and Mackenzie. We got some great footage (these kids are really great to work with). We also got to start Junelle with chainmail and sword. It was a long day but everyone seemed to have a good time. Most of our kids from Maine were here today for filming, and we also had Lee-Anne with us for the first time as well. Here are some photos from today’s shoot. Featured kids are Mackenzie, Adrianna, Bella, Cody, Kaleb and Chris.

Where the people who are Greek, actually speak Greek.
This weekend wound up being a great one for filming, despite all the cancellations. We were priveledged to have the incomparable Angela Buttrey, internationaly renowned belly dance performer and teacher, here with us this weekend. She is an old friend and came to visit us on her way back to LA from Greece, allowing us to use her in the film. We were thrilled to have her with us and got some great footage.
